A firmly established culture, a human‑centric workplace

At JOVACO, we believe that a healthy, stimulating, and flexible work environment is essential to help everyone thrive. That’s why we always put people first. Our priority is to build authentic relationships, foster a friendly atmosphere, and promote our team’s well-being.For over 40 years, we’ve cultivated an employee experience centred on stability and connection, giving our teams the autonomy to work in the way that suits them best – whether fully remote, in the office, or a bit of both.

An atmosphere that
reflects who we are

At JOVACO, culture goes far beyond a place or a schedule — it’s a shared mindset. Trust, respect and authenticity are at the heart of everything we do.

We’ve built a people-first environment where everyone can be themselves, grow at their own pace and make a real impact — wherever they are.

Our bright, open office is designed to spark spontaneous conversations, creative ideas over coffee, and natural collaboration. But our team spirit goes far beyond the walls of our workspace.

Remote work is part of our daily reality, just like the flexibility to balance work and life with ease. What truly matters is staying connected — to our projects, our colleagues, and what drives us.
Our team is made up of passionate, skilled individuals with their eyes on the future.

Here, everyone has the space and support to shape their career through meaningful projects, ongoing training, or evolving roles. We value knowledge sharing, peer learning, and seamless collaboration where we can rely on each other’s expertise.

But above all, at JOVACO, every voice matters.

No matter your role or seniority, your input is heard and your contribution is recognized. This mutual respect is what makes our team a true collective — strong, united, and committed to building something lasting, together.

Resource and Project Planning Coordinator

About the role

This role requires a strong ability to juggle multiple requests simultaneously, prioritize them, and ensure they are assigned to the right people at the right time. As client needs, priorities, and resource availability are constantly evolving, planning must be adjusted continuously. The goal is to optimize the use of all resources while maintaining a high level of quality, smooth workflow, and satisfaction for both clients and internal teams.

Remote position with occasional in-office presence

The role in brief
  • A strategic coordination and optimization role with a cross-functional view of three teams: Implementation, Technical, and Customer Experience
  • A high-impact, high-visibility position — the bridge between operational teams and management
  • This is not a traditional project management role: you don’t deliver projects, you make sure the machine runs smoothly

Your responsabilities
Plan and coordinate resources and projects
  • Qualify new client requests and coordinate their opening with the relevant team leads
  • Assign the right resources to the right projects based on priorities, skills, and workload
  • Maintain a centralized dashboard of resource availability
  • Proactively identify and flag resource conflicts before they become problems
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure their satisfaction
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes
Support project managers and the project management office (PMO)
  • Track the progress of active projects and keep the division dashboard up to date
  • Produce weekly capacity reports for the PMO Standup and identify risks of delays or conflicts
  • Contribute to the standardization of project management methodology

Your profile
Education and experience
  • DEC in administration, IT/IT support, or any other relevant diploma
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or control, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Experience with project planning and tracking tools (advanced Excel, MS Project, or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (an asset)
What sets you apart
  • You communicate with transparency, even when you need to flag a gap or a delay.
  • You genuinely care about people, not just deliverables.
  • You’re recognized for your rigour, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files at once.
  • You know how to read a dashboard and draw practical conclusions from it; you’re comfortable with advanced Excel and AI tools (Copilot) to support your analysis.
  • Knowledge of MS Project or Power BI is an asset.

What JOVACO offers you
  • Comprehensive group insurance, including telemedicine services
  • Employee assistance program (EAP)
  • Group RRSP with employer contribution
  • Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning

  • A collaborative environment where autonomy, innovation, and mutual support are valued
  • An accessible, warm team where everyone can make a real impact on the company’s growth

This role is especially suited to ERP consultants or super-users who enjoy understanding business processes, diagnosing practical issues, and finding effective day-to-day solutions. If you’ve previously worked on ERP implementations but now prefer a role closer to end users, focused on problem-solving, client support, and quick improvements rather than long-term projects, this position could be a great fit for you.

Provide front-line support

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central (a significant asset)
  • Good understanding of business processes and accounting concepts (Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.)
What sets you apart
  • You communicate with transparency and professionalism, even in complex situations
  • You demonstrate active listening, empathy, and patience, even under pressure
  • You honour your service commitments and follow up rigorously through to full resolution
  • You’re comfortable with AI tools (Copilot) and maintain critical judgment about the results they generate
  • You communicate in French and English, depending on the client’s spoken and understood language
