Power Pages allows businesses to create interactive portals where internal and external users can easily view or submit data.
For one of our clients, we developed a recruitment portal integrated into their website. This client undertakes large-scale international projects and regularly recruits volunteers and employees to support their initiatives.
Available positions and projects are automatically displayed on the website using data created in the CRM/Power Platform Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. Candidates can log in to the portal, fill in their personal information, and apply for multiple positions without re-entering their details each time. Each submitted application automatically creates a record in the CRM, triggering the recruitment process.
To handle these applications, we created custom entities on the Power Platform within a modern model-driven app. This tool enables the internal team to efficiently review and manage each application. This organized and connected workflow helps the client centralize recruitment management while providing candidates with a smooth and efficient experience.
Power Automate is designed to automate business processes by connecting various applications and services. Through automated workflows, it eliminates repetitive and manual tasks, accelerating operations and reducing human error.
For a client in the accounting sector, we implemented a fully automated invoice approval process using Power Automate and its integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and OMZY.
Previously, the approval process was entirely manual. Approval criteria were based on amounts entered or formulas calculated in Excel. Once a decision was made, the approver had to record their name and the approval date in the same Excel sheet. The approved invoice then had to be manually entered into Dynamics NAV, a time-consuming and error-prone process.
With automation, every step is now simplified. When an invoice is submitted, Power Automate automatically evaluates the approval criteria and triggers a digital approval workflow. Approvers receive notifications directly via Teams or email and can quickly approve or reject the invoice. Once approved, the invoice is automatically recorded in Business Central and OMZY, eliminating the use of Excel for this process.
This transformation has not only accelerated invoice processing but also improved traceability and significantly reduced errors, allowing the accounting team to focus on higher-value tasks.
Microsoft Power Apps empowers businesses to quickly create custom applications tailored to their specific needs without complex development. A great example is a client in the outsourcing sector who needed a solution to simplify the tracking of employee activities at airports. These employees are responsible for assisting passengers with reduced mobility and providing related services. The manual data collection process was cumbersome and prone to errors.
To address this challenge, JOVACO developed a user-friendly mobile app using Power Apps. With this app, employees can scan passenger boarding pass information directly using their phone’s camera. The data is then automatically captured and transferred to the CRM platform for faster invoicing. The solution reduces data entry errors, improves the customer experience, and allows employees to focus on their primary tasks.
The app also enables employees to easily add additional services, track passenger transfers from one employee to another, and ensure real-time monitoring for accurate invoicing. With Power Apps, the client was able to eliminate manual processes and optimize operations, enhancing team efficiency.
