Starting with version 18.4.1434, Microsoft Dynamics GP is officially supported on Windows 11. More recent versions (18.5, 18.7, and 18.8) offer full compatibility with this operating system.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
- Required version: Only versions 18.4.1434 and later are officially compatible with Windows 11.
- System components: Some prerequisites such as .NET 3.5, SQL Server Native Client, and Dexterity Shared Components may need to be installed manually.
- User Account Control (UAC) and permissions: Windows 11 enforces stricter security settings, so running Dynamics GP with the appropriate administrator rights is recommended.
