If migrating to the cloud wasn’t your resolution for 2025, it really should be! Microsoft’s Bridge to the Cloud 2 promotion helps businesses migrate from their on-premises Dynamics systems to the cloud thanks to a generous offer. But don’t dawdle too much: the promotion ends on December 31, 2025!

What’s Bridge to the Cloud 2?

In 2021, the first Bridge to the Cloud promotion was launched to help customers migrate to the cloud. After key changes were made to the offer, the new Bridge to the Cloud 2 promotion was launched on February 1, 2023, and will end on December 31, 2025.

Bridge to the Cloud 2 helps businesses migrating from their on-premises Microsoft Dynamics system to a functionally similar online product. It offers a generous discount on the price of online licenses, significantly reducing costs related to your migration to the cloud. Monthly pricing also makes it easier to budget and pay for your system.

What are the details of the offer?

  • Bridge to the Cloud 2 offers a 40% discount on the price of licenses with a three-year fixed, non-cancellable term.
  • Your online licenses must have an annualized value equal to or greater than the yearly enhancement plan for your on-premises system, and this value must be maintained during the term.
  • You can continue to access and use your legacy system during the migration.
  • The price of your online licenses is guaranteed for the duration of your subscription.
  • You can add licenses anytime during this term. Removing licenses is only possible within seven days of their initial purchase, or when the subscription comes to an end.

Who’s eligible for Bridge to the Cloud 2?

This promotion is available to commercial customers that:

  • Have an existing Microsoft Dynamics on-premises system with an active enhancement plan.
  • Are committed to moving to the cloud, as it will not be possible to roll back to the previous version.
  • Have not previously purchased a cloud version of the product.

What does “functionally similar” mean?

Depending on your current Microsoft Dynamics system, you can migrate to a range of Dynamics 365 online products, ensuring a seamless transition. Customers of an on-premises ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics SL or Dynamics AX can explore cloud options like Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Operations, and more. CRM customers have pathways to Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dynamics 365 Field Service, Dynamics 365 Sales, and other CRM modules.
